About Caleums
Caleums is a fine-jewellery brand designing and making pieces in Dubai, UAE, including bespoke commissions made to order. Emirati designer Omran AlAmeri founded it in 2024. We work in gold, silver, diamonds and coloured gemstones, from a custom ring or pendant to a jewelled cover for your WHOOP®.
Our founder, Omran AlAmeri
Omran AlAmeri is the Founder and Designer of Caleums. He is an Emirati jewellery designer, and he started the brand in Dubai in 2024.
Caleums began as a love story. The first piece Omran made was for the woman who was to become his wife. He wanted it to show her what a design can mean and how much he cares. The piece also carried the way he sees marriage: separate things brought together, entwined and linked, each holding the other. That one piece grew into a brand. You can see the pieces he made for his own wedding in our bespoke gallery: Regal Sunbeam, Sunlit Flare, Yin & Yang and Mystic Quadrant.
His designs take their cues from nature, from light and from the small details of everyday life. He keeps the lines clean and the balance natural, and he believes every piece should carry a story and belong to the person who wears it.
Why 18K gold? For Omran it comes down to three things. The lustre: 18K gold has a deep, warm shine. The strength: it holds stones firmly when they are set. And the weight: you feel an 18K piece in your hand, and with it the value and importance of what you are wearing. That value is the reason Caleums makes jewellery the way it does.
The same idea runs through Caleums' jewelled covers for WHOOP®. Speaking to SCMP Style in August 2026, Omran said that something worn on the body day and night should feel like part of who you are, not like a device. He described each cover as jewellery first and technology second, personalised to what its wearer connects with. The aim, he said, is for people to look after their health without giving up how they present themselves.
